I hereby give notice that on Thursday 26 May 2022 commencing at 7pm the 20th Annual Meeting of Beneficiaries of Entrust (formally AECT) will be held at the Auckland Racing Club and Ellerslie Event Centre, 80-100 Ascot Avenue, Greenlane. This Annual Meeting was originally scheduled for 28 October 2021 but was postponed due to Covid-19 alert level restrictions.
Agenda items for the meeting are:
Appointment of Auditor
Recommendation: That Grant Thornton be retained for the audit of the annual accounts for the year ending 30 June 2022.
Fixing of the Remuneration of the Auditor
Recommendation: That in accordance with section 101(3) of the Electricity Industry Act 2010, the Trustees are authorised to fix the fees and expenses of the auditors for the ensuing year.
There will also be an opportunity for beneficiaries at the meeting to ask questions, discuss or comment on matters relating to Entrust.
Availability of Financial Statements
The minutes of the Annual Meeting of Beneficiaries held on 29 October 2020 and the audited consolidated financial statements of Entrust for the 12 months ended 30 June 2021 are available on the Entrust website.
