The Auckland Energy Consumer Trust is pleased to announce the appointment of Ian Ward as Executive Officer. Ian replaces Mark Bogle who has taken up a new position with a publicly listed company.

“We extend our thanks to Mark for his services to the Trust and wish him all the very best in his new venture,” said Trust Chairman Warren Kyd, “and we are delighted to have appointed a new Executive Officer of equally high calibre.

“Ian has extensive experience in the business and public organisation sectors, and we are very pleased to have his expertise at the Trust.”
Ian has over thirty years experience in the public and private sectors of New Zealand business, including corporate experience at Fletcher Challenge and Carter Holt Harvey, and has worked in education, health and transport in the public sector. In 2007 he was elected to the Auckland District Health Board. Ian has also run his own consultancy businesses, and specialises in finance, governance and change management. He holds a Master of Commerce Degree in Accounting and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics.

“The AECT is a most valuable asset for the people of the Trust district and I look forward to contributing to its continued success,” he said.
